Footprint Gallery did not have any bookings at the end of the year, so rather than have an empty gallery, the management team decided to offer artists the opportunity to use the gallery. The offer was to display up to 6 pieces of their work, free of charge, but paying a very small commission on any sales.

When the news broke in February 2022 that the stunning Footprint Gallery was going toclose its doors to artists forever, it’s fair to say that the local art community was devastated.Two fellow artists Jan Park and Rod Sheppard decided to do their very best to save thegallery for the local community, artists and groups in the wider region.
