The Footprint Gallery proudly presents the 9th annual Secret Severn Art event, a celebration of the very best regional art. From September 6th to 15th, 2024, we invite you to join us on a captivating ten-day journey through the artistic heart of Shropshire.

At the heart of Secret Severn Art lies the Footprint Gallery, nestled in the historic village of Jackfield. This contemporary arts space has undergone a stunning renovation, turning it into a vibrant gallery and artistic events space that hosts a diverse array of talented local artists and designers throughout the ten-day event.

Jackfield, with its rich history and culture, provides the perfect backdrop for this creative showcase. As you explore the Secret Severn Art, don't miss the chance to visit the world-famous Jackfield Tile Museum. This 19th-century creative hub is where natural resources met incredible skills, artistry, and craftsmanship. It will be open throughout the trail, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past that will leave you inspired and in awe.

Amidst this artistic extravaganza, the on-site café at Jackfield Tile Museum will be open daily from 10am to 4pm. Treat your taste buds to a delightful selection of coffee, teas, soft drinks, fresh cakes, sandwiches, and hot food. Numerous studios in Jackfield, Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge, and Broseley will open their doors during the event, giving you the chance to meet the artists, learn about their creative processes, and discover their artwork first-hand. The line-up is set to be incredibly diverse, featuring painters, illustrators, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, potters, and jewellery designers.
